    I use a new needle every time I inject which could be 10 times a day! There is a hole either end of the needle which once opened, will let in air and bacteria into the insulin and neither of these are desirable by any diabetic! Both are very harmful to health and a new needle should be used...

    Same here in Wales. I use to have an excemption card back in 1980 when I aquired an underactive thyroid but all prescriptions are now free in Wales so I guess we are really lucky. If this stops then I will have to apply for the excemption card again as I have Type 1 diabetes, asthma...
