    I have to take insulin 30 to 45 minutes before dinner and also test my BG before eating. Should I test my BG before injecting or just before eating or does it matter

    Inject and test

    I'm T2 on metformin sr 2 x 1000mg daily and insuman comb 25, 50 units twice a day. I inject 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner The hospital want me to test twice a day before eating Should I test BG levels before I inject , or before I eat.
