Hi all wanting to find out why areas offer such different options and I will have to change from Omnipod and Libre to a tubed pump. Although not keen but pump review now overdue. Do not fund Omnipod 5 . I do exercise every day .
Hi I’ve used Omnipod for many years. Diabetic since 1965 however have not had problems with Omnipod put it on the front of my body generally either side between ribs and hip. Would love to have closed loop system. But nhs in Suffolk won’t approve funding it! Rather frustrating. Hope it gets...
Try phoning company re meter you need. Some will send free also . Are you in UK? However I’m referring to type 1 Diabetes. Insulin users. Sorry if info unhelpful.
If you contact a Diabetes centre / clinic at local hospital they should have give away meters as this results in NHS purchasing test strips ) good luck. I have Omnipod Dash pump and PDM /Freestlye Libra 2 with reader .Best wishes.
Can’t take your license unless hypo reported unstable / loss of warnings if u were hypo. Will be asking for medical report. I had my license taken away change over from human to synthetic insulin Many years ago ) Hope all goes well.
Huh due a pump review but won’t tell me in advance what type they have. Have had to wait years for a pump review. Currently using Omnipod and Libre 2.In Suffolk does anyone on here know please? I do like to research before I make a decision.
I have a pump review next week. They have given me no info on alternative pumps/ upgrades despite phoning and waiting years for a review. Told they would make me a follow up appointment if 1 not enough.

Looks like I may just have to deal with high BP possible problems. Or dizzy spells accidents. Sad really after working so hard for decades with Diabetes management.
Six years ago I posted that my BP tended to be low but years later -Having tried 2 types of antihypertensives encouraged to take when BP ok to reduce likelihood . I had to stop both due to sudden dizziness causing several injury’s. As my bp was fine then/ I refused to take any longer .

Hi I’m using a mobile for readings but seem unable to get alarms on it. Also readings generally higher on phone than when Libre 2 used. Is this normal?
