Hi Terry, what are your before bed, sugar levels. I would , not go to bed, with sugars below 8mml, and would be reducing insulin even more. Been there, done, that. Many years ago, before blood was around. Do you use A viva testing strips. They have recently recalled certain batches of strips,for...

    Driving after laser

As well as doing a driving field vision test, this is using both eyes, not singularly,as in a normal field test. This generally makes it easier. The main criteria is reading a number plate at 20 metres. This equates to the 3rd line from the bottom, on a normal letter board, at an opticians

    Anxiety and panic attacks

Explain to your Diabetic consult, how you are feeling, and ask to be refered to a clinical phycologist. I did this some years ago when my diabetes, started to control me. Any lows seemed to give me instant depression, and put me in flight or flight mode. He talked me through coping...

Having had 100 injections for Oedema, fluid just keeps returning, whilst being unpleasant, it is not generally, to painfully. Dependant on who does it. Like doctors taking blood. Clinical nurses, often do a better job. The prior fear, is usually worse , than the procedure itself. I'm one of...

    Libre May might help

My original point was, without stating the obviose. That the mere fact that Mrs May uses the libre, means the door is half open. It's up to us to kick it the rest of the way. If ccg,s are saying no then see your MP , as I will !,and the first name on my lips will be . Not May but when will...
