Im waiting to have mine this year not been contacted yet, didn't have last year as had reaction the year before then had Pneumonia ..,so little nervous to have this year , but think its important as Covid is around ..

How about juicing and soups sometimes ‍♂️then meats and fish with veg ... healthy and plain no effort ‍♂️

I would take your tablets to the surgery and request a repeat prescription if you have the original hospital request take that ... they should just issue you a prescription ... surely you don’t need a doctors appointment for that and it would be quicker for you ... or if you are friendly with...

Whats your dads diet like and is he active ? ....Is your dad Type 1 or 2 ?

I had DKA when i was first diagnosed too ..its when your body can't break down the sugars and becomes insulin resistant or stops making insulin....There are loads of snacks on the market without sugar and high in protein/carbs ie Nuts ..try Juicing veg and fruit combined with Pea protein powder...

Carbs make you spike ...Hence better to be on a low carb diet..Cut out anything with refined sugars as that can also spike you..I have spiked for 27 years because when first diagnosed told to eat carbs..I have now gone onto a low carb diet and i hardly spike...

I never remove my pod either or put it on hold..however I do have a bad Hypo every time I land !! Figured it was something to do with the air pressure , although I eat on my flight so in theory I should be Hi not Low !!!
