    But if the environment is suitably prepared and not in bright sunlight, darkness is a bit much to expect , then our pupils dilate naturally anyway, some more than others. Even after the flash I need only to wait 2 or 3 minutes and they are back to photographically suitable size.

    Hi @baz2107 , been t1 over 40 years now and learned not to get to worried about blips in what is generally good overall control. Controlling Bm is not an exact science and I've found that identical situations (time/bm/food/I units/exercise) can often lead to widely different bm results 2 hours...

    What long-acting insulin works for you?

    Toujeo - moved from Lantus as was getting frequent highs in an evening ( it doesn't quite last 24 hours) and lows in the night. Toujeo has been great for me - much flatter profile and seems to last the full 24 hours as far as I can tell - good luck !!
