GP said it might cause my sugars to increase so take more insulin? Can you not take it if your type 1? How long were you getting the symptoms for before you decided to have the surgery?
Thanks @nosher8355
I am a dental hygienist so I work with my hands a lot. Quite depressed I have problems already as I have only been working for 5 yrs. I have early stages of it. Was thinking of going to see an osteopath? I saw the GP and he gave me steroids to take :(
Hi all
Has anyone ever suffered from this condition? And what treatment have they had done to help? Have read on the internet that it can be caused by being diabetic? Is this true?

Hi all
Started Low carb diet about 4 months ago and weight was dropping off. Last month I have not shifted any weight but instead it seems the lbs are creeping back on! Does your body get used to this diet so you stop losing weight? What else can I do?
Just really confused, thought my sugars were supposed to be much more controlled with this low carb diet? Just had a home made tuna salad and injected 2 units but sugars gone up to 12.7 ( they were 7.5 before eating)
Hi
I am on a low carb diet but am finding I still have to inject for proteins and fats. If I don't my sugar can rocket up to 14/15. Is this normal or is my body weird? If I increase my basal rate will this mean I will not have to inject?
