    Hi, don't be hard on yourself,fighting chest infections, constant steroids,plus other meds are all factors that don't help diabetes......I know,I've the same problems with my lungs,plus added problems with my gut that effects what I can eat....I too take insulin(can't take tablets due to gut)...
