    Metformin & Beer???

    I have a few beers / glasses of red wine on the weekends and am fine. Ido check my bloods before I go to bed though and try to est something (as instructed by GP and Nurse).

    Re: Metformin Side Effects Hi Both my GP and Nurse say that a couple of occasional beers will do me no harm. Just make sure I have had a snack before going to bed.
