I’m on the Omnipod at the moment I’ve received a letter today from the Diabetic Clinic offering me the Roche solo pump or to change to the Omnipod Dash,has anybody had any experience with either of these pumps, thanks in advance
I’m on the Omnipod,I rang them directly and asked what hospital in my area did the pod,the hospital I was attending didn’t do the Omnipod so changed to another hospital in my area who did , been on it for 3 years and love it. Good Luck hope you managed to get one
I’m going on my first Beach holiday since having the Omnipod,would you recommend I wear it on my arm I’m worried it’s going to get too hot in the Sun,or on my stomach but I’m going to be in the water a lot,I would be thankful for any recommendations
I have flown with my Omnipod a few time never had any problems I just advise them when I go the security that I’m wearing a pump and they just swab it.Enjoy your holiday
I love my Omnipod had it 18 months,us it with a libre control is the best i have ever had, been diabetic for 30 years. I too feel very lucky to have it.
Hi Can anyone advice me when they eat a Chinese meal can you tell how long they extend insulin delivery and what % or is it better to to set Temp basal,I’m finding that I’m going high after about 4 hours after the meal.

Iv been on the Omnipod for 15 months no problems. Sorry to hear all the problems your having. Are u having the same problems if you put it on your arms or stomach.
The Hospital i went to did not do the Omnipod they could not offer it because they said no Diabetic Nurse was not trained with this pump so I contacted Omnipod direct to find out which was the nearest hospital to me that did the Omnipod and then transferred to that hospital.I have been on the...
Can anyone tell me how far from the PDM you can go before it stops working,I've just been out forgot to take the PDM with me and was about 5 miles from home Thanks
I contacted Omnipod directly and asked which hospitals in my area offered the Omnipod. The hospital i was under did not do it,so i transferred my care to another hospital in the same area that offered the Omnipod.
I have been on the omnipod for 9 months, I love it. It is hard work at the start but so worth it not only not having to do injections but feeling the best a have felt for year Good Luck
