Hello Thank you - this has been very useful. Well done on getting your Hba1c down without tablets. [emoji1]

    No energy & weak muscles

Hello Thank you for this - yes I do believe my tiredness is all/or somewhat related to my high sugars. This morning, after a small bowl of bran flakes (supposedly healthy!) I got up to 14! Iam on the max no. of tablets (before ending up on Insulin) and I think I now realise the ONLY way to deal...

    No energy & weak muscles

Thank you for the link - but the tiredness started before I was taking them. I did read that Metformin can cause this, but stopped it for a couple of weeks & it made no difference.

    No energy & weak muscles

I didn't know dapagliflozin shows lower levels on the meter than the true picture. I just assumed the nurse checked the ketone levels at the yearly review - although this was before I started taking dapagliflozin. I shall get checked. Thanks.

    No energy & weak muscles

I've had many blood tests over the last 6 months & thyroid vit & minerals all checked. I think they might only do something the day I collapse in the street!

    No energy & weak muscles

My last HBa1c was 80! But since the dapagliflozin was added, I test myself and levels are near normal. Yes, they do occasionally go to 12 after a meal, but I'm assuming this shouldn't be a problem? I would love to totally do LCHF - but don't like the alternative food!

    No energy & weak muscles

Hello I have been type 2 for just over a year, but ever since diagnosis my energy levels have gradually gone down, and all my muscles getting weaker. I have had every blood test possible at the Drs - for anything that could be causing this - other than diabetes but all have come back normal...

    Weakness feeling

I just came on, to ask the exact same thing! Iam on Metformin & Vipidia. Legs have been getting progressively weaker ever since taking Metformin, but Nurse says it's nothing to do with the meds. This last week I've nearly fallen down the stairs, twice.

    HbA1c results query

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I have made dietary changes, as well as the meds. Does it matter to much if occasionally blood sugars go up to around 12, after a meal, if the HBA1c are still ok?

    HbA1c results query

Hello I was diagnosed type 2 in August this year. At the beginning of Sep my HbA1c result was 93. Now, 3 months later it has dropped to 56. I realise it's good, it has dropped, but is 56 still 'bad'/far to high, or OK? What should it ideally be? I don't have access to a diabetic nurse at the...

    Vipidia - anyone taking these?

Hi I was wondering if anyone is taking Vipidia, and what is their experience of them? It seems a relatively new medicine and there isn't much information available at the moment. Thank you.
