High Blood Sugars Compared to Normal

Hi, just looking for a bit of advice before i contact my DSN. Over the last week my blood sugar has been increasing, and instead of me being in my normal range of 4-7, have constantly been 9-12. I was wondering if anyone knew why this has happened? I am 17, and have been diagnosed just over a year.

I have been on an omnipod for about a month now, and love it! It is a lot of hard work to start with, and very tiring, but it has made my control a lot better already. I forget it is even there half the time! If you have any questions, feel free to ask [emoji4]x

    Pump Referral Appointment

I know! They wanted to let me try the pump and get it sorted before they move me to adults next year, as i will be 18 soon. The main reason i went onto a pump was to help my control as i am very active, with college and hobbies.

Omnipod, Animas Vibe, Medtronic or Accucheck?

I had the same choices as you. I have been on the omnipod for nearly a week now and like it. Its so much better than mdi! As i am very active, i chose the omnipod as it is tubeless and do like it.

Thank you for the advice! I keep a diary with my levels, amount of carbs eaten and exercise done already. I am very active due to owning and working with horses the majority of the time. I am only 17, and have only been diagnosed for almost 10 months, so as still coming to terms with managing...
