    Breakfast

Very low carbs for me. Eggs, bacon mushrooms mostly and some spinach. I'm baffled by the docs are still prescribing things like oats, bread to diabetics. You'll need a tonne of insulin for that. you'll more than likely end up taking too much insulin, then go low and the diabetes cycle will just...

    Struggling with diabetes lately[emoji20]

I've been in the same position when I was your age. A lot of us were, and there will be more to follow. It's a natural phase of acceptance. low carb diet in hospital

To me it seems that the diabetic medical teams force us to make up 60-70% of our diet with the one food (carbs) that makes diabetes worse. It makes zero sense. I've argued this point on number of occasions only to get a half assed scare mongering story about ketones. The truth is the...

    Ketogenic diet?!

Same as others have mentioned most or all of the doctors will try and say being powered from Ketones is a bad thing with type 1 diabetes. I for one can tell you this is totally untrue. I've been diabetic 11 years now and the past 3 months on Keto is the best thing that has happened for my...
