The worrying thing is, if the council find medical waste in with your household waste, even if you explain that you’ve been told to do it by your DSN, their view is getting rid of it is your sole responsibility, so it’s only you who’ll have to answer for it and pay the fine.

I just looked at the BB date and it’s 2020, so they should be fine. Is it right that Tresiba will last for eight weeks once it’s opened? My DSN said to dispose of it after 30 days, but that seems a bit wasteful, I only get through half the insulin in that time.

I tend to follow low FODMAPS too, although apparently this can starve your good bacteria as well as the bad if done long term. Bloating and constipation are my worst symptoms, and not digesting my food, but I think this is down to low stomach acid rather than SIBO.
