Very high protein yogurts & shakes

Thanks....am on solid foods now, although very small portions, still have trouble getting enough protein in, and Greek yogurt is my stand-by, as well as some of the Atkins products that I’d been using on the LCHF. Now 8 weeks post-operation and slowly getting back to normal. I’d not been able to...

    Remission

I think it's all a matter of what words you want to use. Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with T2. I've managed it using the LCHF diet that everyone goes on about. When I started last May I was 17 stone and had an HBA1C of 70, I'm now just under 13 stone and have today got my latest test...

Tired of trying, bad management or bad pancreas?

It took ages for my body to respond to the LCHF lifestyle .. the thing that really kick started the BS coming down (and staying down) was fasting. i cut out breakfast entirely (which for a sweet-toothed thing like myself was really easy - as I can't think of anything worse than bacon and eggs...

Libre Sensors now require a prescription?

Did you order over the counter? I've been on both Boots' and Superdrug's websites and they don't admit to stocking them ! am panicking as Abbott's website is limiting me to two every 25 days (and that might change !) what might be the alternative options if they are no longer available !

Low Glycemic Index Foods - and the promo of carbs

Interesting that many healthcare professionals think of carbs as foods for energy, brains and muscles etc.....I've just undergone an oesophogectomy and so now have a stupidly small stomach in the shape of a tube (the wonders of modern science!) and my nutritionist is telling me to eat PROTEIN...

Very high protein yogurts & shakes

Having just got out of hospital following surgery for esophageal cancer, I'm looking for a very high protein yogurt or smoothie that is low in volume but protein packed, as I can only eat very small amounts, obvs it has to be super low in carbs, not only for my type II LCHF but for my newly...

Anyone else had Librelink issues with heart monitors?

Does anyone know if having a cpx test (cardio-pulimenary cycling text) might affect the librelink sensor - I was all wired up and wirelessly connected to a machine measuring my heart/lungs etc...since then (this morning) my librelink is giving odd readings.

Bought a soup maker - best piece of equipment in the kitchen - bung it all in, switch it on...20 mins later soup ! I'm a lazy and disinterested cook but it still tastes great !

I use body glue and apply it directly to the sensor pad before application - so far so good, 2 have stayed on for the full two weeks ! The three previous ones had all come off within a week!!
