    Make a Thai curry by adding a tin of coconut milk and some Thai curry paist, use your choose of fish or meat along with some green veg. Many soaps use checken stock maybe with a little cream. Add to your slow cooker with some cheap meat.

    It needs a lot of home testing to get a result as meaningful as a A1c. Few people with type2 diabetes do that much testing.

    Think of a person with type2 who is in a large constant energy deficit, for that person suger is not a poison. Hence he sees the issue is as the total food/drink intake not suger in ioslation.

    Maybe try going as fast as you can for 2 minutes on a high resistance, then go slowly on a low resistance until your heart rate drops, repeating a few times.

    Try finding a hill to walk up, or try HIIT. Short exercise that makes your body works (resistance training and/or HIIT) tend to give better result then spending a long time doing steady state easy exercise. But remember "easy" is define by how your body responds, not what other people do.

    As a Engineer at heart, I believe all models are incorrect, but some models are very helpful when trying to operate a system. I see controlling BG in DM2 as a system operating problem and like all system operating problems a model that helps predicts the effect of changes to inputs is helpful.
