    Recurrent Thrush

    Hi All, Since being diagnosed nearly a year ago, I just can't get rid of thrush. My blood glucose has improved. My GP has prescribed me months and months worth of Canestan cream 2% it soothes but doesn't seem to clear it up. Any ideas for treatment? Would be extremely grateful for any advice.

    Sitagliptin

    Hi All, I have been started on Sitagliptin, I have noticed that hypos can be a problem. My GP is refusing to prescribe test sticks and lancets. I think my only option is to refuse to take this drug. I can't afford to self fund sticks etc. I drive and I know testing is mandatory. What can I do?

    Diabetic eye screening

    Hi All, I had my eyes screened on Tuesday, the optician was vile. He used his fingers to hold my eyes open and was fighting with me. To put the drops in. He said oh for gods sake. My eyes are still sore, my screening was okay. I won't be going back there again. Has anyone else had a bad experience?

    Metformin reaction

    Hi started Metformin last Friday dose 1500 mg started with one tablet a day for a week. I have terrible diarrhoea, abdo pains, indigestion worst I've ever had and nausea. My pharmacist said to discontinue if diarrhoea started. I am hoping to get a GP appointment tomorrow. My BM's are ranging...

    High BG and incontinence

    Hi All, I have high blood glucose as I've just been diagnosed, I'm urinating loads especially at night. I have terrible urge incontinence, I leak quite a bit. Anyone else had this problem? I'm wearing Tena pads I'm only 40 so quite embarrassing. Thanks
