HI EllieM i hope i can explain how a loop works ok.... As you know there is a delay between intestinal and finger pick supposed to be aroung 10-15 min. Your dexcom gets a reading every 5 min with a loop setup right it calulates how much insulin is required to get to your target glucose...

Op my advise is go out have a normal life. I had my kids before i had T1. So far 1 is 10 the other is 12 watching them grow up is the most rewarding thing no regrets. My advise to them is the same. So far no sign of it.
