    Omnipod Dash system Issues

My problems are keeping them on me when it's hot outside, they just melt off me. Used skin tac and omnipod plasters which helped somewhat when I was on Rhodes last month. I emailed insulet pleading that they increase the stickiness as I'm sure lots of people experience this but no response. Soz...

Thanks, I was just a bit unsure as to whether I still input blood glucose level and carb amount or simply just put in carbs but it makes sense for both.

    Omnipod and snacking

Hiya, this might be a silly question. I missed the section of training if you want to snack between meals when using omnipod. Do you just follow the same rules as when having a meal? Thanks in advance.

I was 21 when diagnosed, so 32 years now. Some days it's no bother & I just get on with it, other days with curve balls I could scream in frustration. Trying to maintain a mind set of OK it's been a tough day but hopefully tomorrow will better.

    Going low at work

Hiya, I hope you beginning to feel better now & please try & get over your embarrassment, it's happened but you can learn from it. You should eat after 20-30 mins after taking the Novorapid to give it time to get in to your system to balance out the carbohydrates you eat. It could be your basal...

    Rising sugars on pump changeover

This also can happen to me. What has helped me but not always is to leave the old pod in place for at least an hour after the change. I'm reluctant to try a small bolus or temporary basal as the rise is inconsistent.
