    BYETTA

Re: Anyone use Byetta? Hi Jude You seem to be hitting the same brickwalls that I was with my GP and practice nurse, you almost have to demand a referral and they then seem to "kop the hump" because you have questioned their ability to deal with your problems. As Ken has said, you must see a...

Petition to PM office - Diet advice for T2 diabetics

Whilst I would not hesitate to support such a petition,my fear is that even if we got the Health Minister to review the situation , who would be consulted? I think we know who - the mainstream HCP's and their cronies who will simply churn out another batch of misinformation and think they have...

    MEDICATIONS

Does anybody know the best way to find out if medications such as Byetta,Sitagliptin etc are available on NHS prescription in the area in which you are being treated.I am guessing that the postcode lottery may play a part in their availability but would be useful if I could find out before they...

    Re: Thyroid Gland

Having been to see my Thyroid specialist yesterday , he confirmed that there is a link between thyroid problems and Diabetes (and indeed many other illnesses). The main problem yet again in this country seems to be how the NHS tests for thyroid disorders and how they analyse the results.Firstly...
