    CGMS funding approved

I believe it was mainly due to my hypo unawareness. I've been on the pump for 8 years and been asking about CGMS for a while. I think the Diabetes centre at Morriston is fantastic but heard a lot of good about Prince Phillip also ;-) Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    CGMS funding approved

I'm very pleased. Had a call from my DSN today and she said I have been granted funding for CGMS. Been using enlightes for past few weeks to help with basal testing and quite pleased with results, generally very close to finger testing. Very happy Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Cellnovo Pump

Hi Jud007, I was on the Cellnovo pump for part of a trial. It wasn't a conscious decision as such but wanted the experience of trying a patch pump and helping get a product released. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Well unless you are changing anything the pumps will run on. The handset does have aeroplane mode however for exactly this contingency Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Cellnovo Pump

Hi Pyney I have knocked it lol. It did remain in place. I find the adhesive patches good. Only advice I would give would be once attached don't get the patch wet for a few hours. If I've exercised and sweated then the patch may come loose but easy to attach another patch ( you have plenty to...

    Cellnovo handset (Video)

You can set the handset like mobile devices to aeroplane communication mode. Not sure if that would help Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Cellnovo handset (Video)

The handset automatically turns on every 15 minutes to monitor the pump and upload. However if pump not found it will sync when next in range. In my small house it doesn't have a problem if its in adjacent room though Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Cellnovo handset (Video)

The handset is independent of the pump. You use it to alter any settings and administer insulin. It collects information from the pump and sends automatically to the cloud. For this I would advise the handset to be with you so it syncs with the pump and uploads frequently. The pump is the...

    Cellnovo Pump

Oh I would have to check I am not sure but I vary about the 50 units per day and that lasts me two days within hour or two. I would say you would last the three days. I wouldn't use any pump for more than three days though as you need to change site fairly regularly. Sent from the Diabetes...

    Cellnovo Pump

I've been on the Cellnovo pump since August when I took part in a clinical trial. Like my Medtronic pump it took me a short while to adjust to it and learn its nuances. I think with any pump system its what you are used to. Using the Cellnovo is now second nature and wouldn't want to go back to...

    Cellnovo Pump

I use steel 5mm canullas and currently it is in my arm. Its very comfortable. As its slightly thinner than Teflon I get less irritation. Its easy to fit and the pump is waterproof for up to 1 metre if you do take off the cannula has a cap fitted in also. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Hey All John here again for my second video regarding the Cellnovo handset. Video can be found here: Firstly a few notes. The video image is not perfect but hopefully it is clear enough for a quick look (make sure you view in at least 720 dpi). I tried a number of devices to record. This was...
