    Nurse has said Stopping Novarapid Insulin

    I have been told that if my levels do not drop over the next few weeks the nurse will stop my novaRapid injections and give me a fast acting tablet unsure of name but think it has some thing to do with Gliclazide has anyone tried these tablets and what was the side effects?

    FIT Test

    Has any one had a FIT test I had my bloods checked a few weeks ago and I was found to be anaemic so had to have more blood tests and a FIT test (sample of poo sent to lab) that came back as high so am now waiting for further investigations..... anyone else had one of these??

    MY reading on Insulin

    Haemoglobin A1c level - IFCC standardised 74 mmol/mol [20.0 - 41.0] so they put me on insulin which makes you eat and i get a reading of the above ?? anyone can tell me what that means??

    over 70 , diabetic, High Blood pressure etc

    What Age

    At what age do you all think a person with Diabetes should stop driving, I know If you're on a long journey, it's important to stop at least every couple of hours to re-check your sugar levels. Also Important to ensure your levels are 5 mm or above but what age do you think it safer to not drive.
