Have you ever lied about having T1D...?

Hi KK, it was just a procedure at a beauty salon, so nothing life changing! And I completely understand her reasons / policy. Just makes you think.

Have you ever lied about having T1D...?

As per the question, have you ever covered up the fact that you have Type 1, and why? Not that I'm planning on telling a fib of course [emoji87]

Who on here eats a ' normal diet"......

I wonder if some people can tolerate carbs more than others, if I eat a 'normal' amount of carbs I'm left with horribly high sugars even if I think I've calculated correctly?

Thanks for your reply Juicy. I am lucky enough to have a Libre due to the fact I was finger pricking more than 10 times daily. It really helps. And you're right, I think life will eventually get easier again! I do need to prioritise food in general - you are what you eat after all! I'll give...

    Healthy eating

My DN always says I give myself a hard time, as my HBA1C is quite good. My lifestyle is quite hectic, there's always party food, drinks, eating out so I give in to temptation quite regularly! I tend to have a few 'good' weeks then a few 'bad' weeks which is probably why my HBA1C evens out ok. x
