...radically changed the way I eat. I now eat moderate low carb, having cut out potatoes, pasta, rice and bread, but not crispbreads, yogurt, and milk. The salty, savory snacks I love have been banished, except for one 40 gr packet of crisps a week. I do some pork crackling if I get absolutely desperate for salty snacks, and I actually eat fruit almost every day now, in the form of blueberries with Greek yogurt.
...lost 10 kg. I sneaked a peek at the scales two days early, because of my doctor's visit today. It showed 77.6 kg. Last Christmas, albeit on a different set of scales, I was 87.7 kg.
...lowered my HbA1c from 6.6% (49) to 5.5% (37). Yay!!
My doctor was very happy with my progress. I was told to keep doing what I was doing.
