Hi All,
Recently diagnosed T2 and committed to LCHF lifestyle on 16th Feb. I think I'm doing it right but I have had no info yet from my surgery and I do not have an appointment with the dietician until 23rd March. I would be very grateful if some kind folks could have a look at the following summary of a typical day (actually yesterday) from my diet and carb intake monitoring ...

Breakfast : Carbs - 6 grams
2 scrambled eggs - 2g
100 grams gammon - 1g
100 grams tomato (tinned) - 3g

Lunch : Carbs - 5 grams
100 grams chicken - 1g
Med bowl mixed salad - 4g

Dinner : Carbs - 19 grams
100 grams ham - 4g
100 grams gouda - 4g
2 boiled aggs - 2g
60 grams cucumber - 4g
1 large tomato - 5g

Drinks : Carbs - 18 grams
2 x 500ml Soda + slice Lemon - 4g
175ml white wine - 4g
5 cups tea/milk/no sugar - 10g

Total Carb intake - 48 grams

I am aiming for a daily intake of 60 to 80 grams. I am aware this a bit below my daily target but I don't feel any hunger or other effects; and since diagnosis on Feb 7th, I have lost 4.8kg and my BG levels have come down to around 6.0 from 12.5. I would appreciate any advice, corrections and comments ...

Looks very good indeed. I can't see how you'd get much lower on carb intake. Continue the way you are doing and I'm sure you'll see your BG falling.
If you have a meter you'll be able to see the effects.
