blood levels - urine levels

rude people , people who can't make an instant decision
hi all

can someone tell me please the difference between the two levels , if i use a urine test strip which show a bright yellow with no hint of green which acording to the colour chart on the tube is normal, imediately after i did an experimented with a blood test which shows 9.2 which is in no way normal , why is this :? hc

ps yea i forgot to mention i am absolutely freezing cold as well dont know if thers any connection with the two different level

Everybody has what is called a "renal threshold" that's the Bg level at which glucose spills over. it's usually recovered by the kidneys, but if there's too much they can't. The renal threshold for most people is around 10mmol/l
Thus up to that BG level, it doesn't show in the urine.
You've discovered the reason why urine testing is of doubtful value in controlling diabetes. It used to be all there was, but we've moved on.
