Do u know what I was wondering about the head tbh with you as my migraine medications not working
As for A + E. No thank you lol I really can't face sitting up there for many hours my anxiety won't take it x

I was just the same when advised to go to A&E Sal, and I also suffer from anxiety, but now I wish I had have gone, instead of waiting all this time for medical help. But I do understand how you feel and if you don't want to go to hospital, please tell the surgery just how you feel and what your BG is to make sure they see you on Thursday. Promise?

People that can't listen to other people's opinions.
People that can't say sorry.
You need to tell the receptionist that you have glucose levels that indicate that you are likely to have DKA and that to avoid an unplanned A&e admittance that you would very much appreciate having an urgent appointment with a GP.

Our Receptionists asks questions solely to see if you are an emergency and to direct you to either a nurse, a nurse practitioner or GP.

NHS England have given the go ahead for our Receptionists to direct calls to a Nurse Practitioner if a GP is not available.
so if you can only get to see a Nurse Practitioner take it.. They should then get you squeezed in with a GP if they are think it is necessary.

Called the Community Diabetic Clinic again today to be told that a doctor needed to look at my details to determine who I needed to be seen by, either a nurse or doctor and that it could be July before I am seen. Asked which clinic I wanted to attend (as in locality) so I said any, they said I might be seen quicker if I went to one in a certain village/small town, I said that was fine as it's where my parents live and where I come from but was told told it could still be a while. Burst into tears out of desperation and frustration and was sobbing down the phone (I should not be so weak), told them how ill I feel and that my BG was too high, but it made no diference.

I can't drive so my parents will take me to the appointment when I get one if it's where they live, or if not can go when husband is not at work or in bed (he works night-shifts). If needs be I would get a taxi.

Called the surgery I was going to transfer to and they said they would also send me to the CDC, so would not get seen any sooner of I was with them.

Hey Lil
Yes I'm sure I can honestly tell you it's not shingles lol without saying to much.
I always get these sores and blisters with the tiredness when my blood sugar levels are sky high.
Am phoning my Doctors tomorrow morning to see if i can get in either to see my doctor or my nurse.
Xx

Not really Clive, and to be honest I don't think my BG warrants it, currently 15.1 but have yet to test after food,, but if I start to feel any worse I will certainly go or at least demand an appointment with GP. Don't think the lack of sleep is helping. If I don't feel any better by the weekend I shall ask to see a Doctor within the new opening times, at a differnt place, but still same doctors I think. I was only aware of these new opening times on Monday and I know the GP who wasn't helpful is on duty on Fridays so want to avoid him if at all possible.

That is totally disturbing that you cannot possibly get in until July I'd go to your own Gp and have a word with them.
X

They are not really helpful Sal, when I asked to go on insulin the GP tried to book me an appointment with the CDC, but couldn't as they were full up so sent me home with sheets of paper to organise myself. Apparently I need to be seen by the CDC if I want to go on insulin and the doctors can't help.
