brown patches on knees

Hi
I am insulin resistant and predisposed - im trying to deal with the prevention and possibilities.. but.. i have 2 brown patches of (hard skin).. on my knees, i always thought it was a form of 'housewives knee'.. lol |I have tried everying to get rid of it.... but i have heard today that i can be a symptom of potential diabetes.. does anyone have this.. it can be on elbows too.....

Hi Caroline :)

Never heard of such a thing - but anything is possible! I tend to use loads of creams anyway and if I ever use too much of anything the elbows and knees are where I always rub the excess - so that might be worth a try? Could be why I have never noticed a problem I suppose.
