Calcium level low

Hi Guys just got my annual check and I thought not too bad 1ac 6.3 cholesterol 4.7 blood pressure good but the doc has asked to repeat my tests in a month due to my calcium level being low any body else had this before? ? Thanks by the way I'm type 2 diagnosed 3 years ago and in good health

Did they test your vit d3 too?

Mine are monitored for being too high... Despite not taking supplements.

They should have checked your kidney function too. GP should have asked you whether you have any muscle twitching or spasms.

Hi thanks for the reply kidneys are fine and I do get cramps thought that just comes with age lol

Try upping your calcium intake by choosing high calcium foods. Hopefully that will solve the problem better than taking supplements. If not, then there could be an absorption problem.
