Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Normally these (usually charity) events have a rhyme with the month, such as Movember/November.
Dry January doesn't have that same ring, though.
I was just speculating on some months that could be tied to diabetes.
January - no real rhyme.
February - Fasting February (nice short month) or Full Fat February
March - Low Starch march?
April - no real rhyme
May - no real rhyme (test every day in May?)
June - no real rhyme (hide the spoon in June for no desserts?)
July - dry July?
August - no real rhyme
September - no real rhyme
October - sober October (booze taking a kicking again)
November - Newcastle November? Good time to try that diet? No-carb November?
December - no real rhyme. Diabetes December might be a campaigning point.
Just reminded of this because I didn't get into Sober October and Movember is a bit pointless because I already have a moustache.
However committing to doing something for a month can be a great motivator, especially for groups, so perhaps this forum could pick a couple?
Any filling in for my lack of imagination is more than welcome.
