Hi @goosey39 ..
My numbers at time of diagnosis on 7 Feb were worse ..
Serum cholesterol 7.100 mmol
Serum Triglycerides 1.8 mmol
Serum HDL cholesterol level 1.290 mmol
Serum LDL cholesterol level 4.860 mmol
Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio 5.5
Se non HDL cholesterol level 5.800 mmol

I guess your doc will advise (or has advised) statins .. mine did but I gave these up after a few weeks and focused only on LCHF. Had a blood test last week (18th) and my numbers were ..
Serum cholesterol 3.600 mmol
Serum Triglycerides 0.66 mmol
Serum HDL cholesterol level 1.660 mmol
Serum LDL cholesterol level 1.640 mmol
Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio 2.17
Se non HDL cholesterol level 1.900 mmol

So, not as bad as you might have first thought

@goosey39 I would be happy with all of those, except the trigs which I would like to see at or below1.0...but hey they aren't bad results at all IMO. :)

Thanks he suggested them last year , i said no then as i was ill with Hiatus Hernia and the pain was horrendous, i had gone from no tablets a day too about 12:eek: i couldnt eat or anything and had enough to deal with at the time.
When i was diagnosed end of March he mentioned them again , i said will think about it;) thought about it, then answer is still no as have changed my diet
Why has your HDL cholesterol gone up? is that the good one?

The standard ranges should be on your print out. In case they aren't this is what they say on mine:

serum cholesterol 3 to 4 (5 for non- diabetics)
Triglycerides 0 to 1.7
HDL 1.2 to 3.5
LDL 0 to 2 (3 for non-diabetics)
cholesterol/HDL ratio under 4
Non HDL cholesterol under 3.4
Triglyceride/HDL ratio under 0.87

However, it is the ratios that matter the most rather than any individual level. I would not have any worries with those levels you have posted. Eating a low carb diet with plenty of oily fish will help.
