Report in the Mirror today from a person who uses this forum. http://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/health/went-low-carb-diet-lost-10052977 but look at the last two items in the report:-
■ Replace refined carbs with wholegrain foods and increase intake of vegetables and other foods high in dietary fibre.

■ Reduce the amount of saturated fat and salt in your diet.

Agreed. Sounds more like insulin resistant T2 other than the pancreas becoming alive again - unlikely.
