    Hi im tally
    I am 12 years old nearly 13
    I have had type 1 diabetes for 9 years now and everyday is a struggle! I just want to be able to talk to people who understand what i mean

    It is hard, I know. All I can suggest is to get as good control.as you can, as that makes you feel like you're beating the stupid diabetes, and not to let it get you down. Think of it as an unwelcome passenger - you have to tolerate it but you don't have to let it 'drive your car'. You're in charge of your life and Type 1 shoukdnt stop you doing what you want.

    It's okay things will get better, just eat healthy take your meds and avoid triggers and you'll do fine.
