Type 1 does metformin cause eczema?

I am t1 15 years and in the last month have started taking 850g metformin 3 times a day. I have never had any skin conditions before but in the last 2 weeks at the back of my knees and under the arms I'm developing eczema which is as itchy and as irritating as ever!I have experienced other side effects since I started metformin such as diahorrea and loss of appetite. I'm guessing the eczema is down to the metformin. Can anyone shed some light on this and will it go away?

There are others on the forum who have experienced a similar effect and most I think do put it down to the Metformin.

Some use creams and ointments to treat it.
