Ever since i was diagnosed with diabetes my skin has been really dry. I never really had a problem with my skin before but since going on insulin i have had really dry skin that i cant seem to combat. Also a lot of makeup that i used to use before now seems really bad for my skin and makes it come out in a rash.

I dont know if having diabetes or taking insulin relates to my new sensitive skin or if it is a completely different reason.
Anyone experience similar ?

The hassle and ignorance of diabetes.
Your blood sugar / glycaemic control can incur dry skin - try using an E45 type of cream in the immediate term. Some nuts (brasils, almonds, etc.,) can help, as does Vitamin D3.

However, it's worth seeing your GP as well - diabetes is linked with other conditions and certain vitamin deficiencies (e.g. coeliac and vitamin D).
