Just had our first lobster feed of the season. I had three canners (smaller than markets but still legal size and usually much tastier) - they were caught that day and were still quite lively - we steamed them and wow were they good. My belly was full and there was negligible affects on my BGs.
It's too bad I couldn't eat it freshly caught year round - I guess I should be satisfied with 3 or 4 Lobster feeds a year. If you can eat shell fish (many can't) and have never tried lobster before - give it a go - if possible buy it fresh from the wharf - there's nothing like it.
P.S. I'm just someone with Type 1 diabetes - I don't work in the Lobster Industry LOL
