Oh I am so excited. Just got my Hb1aC results and it was 39. This time last year it was 49 which having nursed my mum through diabetes complications at the end of her life I was absolutely determined to do all I could not to end up in the same position. Until Aug this year I was guided by Michael Mosley's blood sugar diet but since then I have been less focused and enjoyed carb treats now and again, I have also religiously walked a minimum of 10,000 steps a day since May when I treated myself to a Fitbit tracker. I have followed the forum over this time although been reluctant to post anything but now I am shouting from the rooftops. Thanks for all the support.
