Hi Everyone,
I am new too!!! My story sounds similiar to the previous poster, in that I was recently diagnosed ( a couple weeks before Christmas) and they are still unsure as to whether I am type 1 or 2. I use to love sweet things and had been known to drink 2 litres on fizzy drinks in a day and not think anything of it. You can imagine how all of this was a complete SHOCK!!!! I am what they would term athletic looking, so would have never have dreamt of being diabetic.
All this takes getting use to, so the added support would be BRILLIANT!!
Thanks
