How is type1 1/2 differentiated from type 2?

Ya maybe,sometimes I feel like they don t know what there speaking about sometimes.Went to see diabetic nurse last week and she said I must be LADA also had some1 ring me up yesterday as I've put myself forward for trials and after explaining my medical history she said I sound like type 2,I know it possible for you to be type 2 and be normal weight so maybe,but I don t think I am tbh.

Its so frustrating isnt it wiserkurtious?..I haven't had an explanation that I can understand as to why they think Im type 1 or 1 1/2(lada) . My last doc doent seem to like saying 1 1/2 so called me type 1. .
