How many blood glucose meters do you have?
And how many do you use?
This was inspired by another thread where Mr TITD said he had 8 or so.
I'll start:
I just threw out 2 Freestyle Lite meters because the strips were proving too expensive (I'm type 2 and buy my own).
Now I have 3 (yes 3!!!) Codefree meters (£12 ea). One beside bed. One beside armchair. One in desk drawer at work.
I should have one in handbag too.
Why 3? Because if I just had one, I would leave it at work. Or at home. Or upstairs. And I would never have it nearby, so I would never test, and then I would cheat and eat too many carbs because I wouldn't see the consequences...
Fallibility is my middle name !
