Hi All,

I really fancy a big slice of cake or a yummy cupcake but It needs to be diabetic friendly so low in carb and sugar. Anyone know of places that make such things in Surrey or Sussex way? I know I’m being lazy but I really can’t be bothered to cook up things from scratch al the time! I miss my old life sometimes :(

I'm not in your area, so can't help you with retail outlets, but some of these look easy enough, maybe to tempt you to unleash your inner Mary Berry?: https://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/the-best-low-carb-cupcake-recipes/

Alternatively, these mug cakes don't usually take more than a couple of minutes to throw together, for cooking in the microwave: https://www.tasteaholics.com/recipes/roundups/20-quick-low-carb-mug-cake-recipes/

I don't subscribe to the latter linked website, but the recipes on that particular page appear to be mainly gathered from decently reputed sits across the web.

The mug cakes probably take less time to knock up, at will, than thinking ahead, planning your indulgence and popping to the shops, but it's up to you.
