Hi diagnosed July this year, just changed to Jardiamet 5/1000mg 1 tab a day. Anyone else having this medication? Any experience to share?

I think there are a few different "names" for your medication, but I think the active ingredient is empagliflozin.

I have been taking Jardiamet for approx. 4 weeks and developed excruciating abdominal pains radiating to the back and also feelings of wanting to use my bowels several times a day but nothing happened.
I have stopped (2 days ago) as I need to see if the tabs are causing my problem.
Is anyone else having similar problems?
