Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I was not sure if this should go in the low carbohydrate or diet and weight loss forum, but as I am LCHF here we go.

Restricted food choices can be boring at times, but since I bought the Breville panini toaster I have had loads of fun.

I find that if I split a Lidl protein roll in half, butter the insides well (to keep it moist) then toast it with a filling such as cheese, cheese & onion, cheese & salami then I get a filling meal which is also tasty, tasty, it's very very tasty.....

Much nicer than just a Lidl roll and a filling. I need to expand my fillings, possible even not use cheese!

Panini toaster because you need the floating top plate to allow you to fit the Lidl roll in.

Breville because it has flat plates, not ribbed, and I prefer that.

In emergency you could also fry eggs and bacon in it. :)
I've wanted one ever since a trip to Tasmania where the beach house we rented had an older, bigger version.
