Life insurance?

Hi all,

I need to arrange life insurance as part of a mortgage and the first one I tried off moneysupermarket turned me down after the health survey where I was being honest. I feel a bit annoyed to say the least! I was expecting a larger monthly payment but not that.

Anyway, after feeling sorry for myself I thought I'd ask here. Is there a specialist place you guys use or is it a matter of trying a load?

I'm T2 and a bmi of 30.7 (but reducing!) and also have high BP.

Thanks!

Just keep trying different companies, I got a decreasing term policy with a company called Cornhill Insurance which was later taken over by Phoenix Life, the policy was heavily loaded with me being a type 1 but (like you) I was refused insurance by some companies before then.

Thanks, I'll keep going! A good incentive to lose more weight for sure. It'd be interesting to see what difference a normal range BMI will have
