So, My BG is nearly always out of my target range, and it seems that no matter what I eat it always remains like that, so I began looking into my medication as I take quite a few different tablets (6 different pills) following a heart attack, and upon searching them I find the following information on two:
Beta-blockers may increase blood glucose by reducing insulin sensitivity - I take Bisoprolol
Statins have also been associated with increased blood glucose. Pravastatin is the only statin that is not associated with increasing blood glucose - I take Atorvastatin
Anyone have any knowledge on this, or know how much they increase BG on average?
