New just Diagnosed with Diabetes 2 question

    ask him for the time release (ER) so it doesn't hurt your gut

    I think your blood glucose seems to get too low at times, so maybe you get too much medicine... think you should phone your GP or nurse for advice

    another reason for the time release and for splitting doses. If two, one halfway through breakfast and before any carbs, the other before bedtime after a meal or snack, as evenly spaced as possible.

    another reason for time release and not giving a whammy dose of the drug at once
