I was diagnosed with diabetes many years ago. Morbidly obese for most of 30 years and obese most of my life. Now teaching diabetes prevention on a voluntary basis in my community and helping others. @CRPetersen - a new category for 'Insulin Dependent Type 2' was added a while back, but unfortunately quite a few people were swapped to that instead of being left as Type 2. You might want to use the 'Personal Details' section of your profile to change back to Type 2.

@Administrator @CaptainEarle @CaptainWard - this problem is still ongoing - I've noticed quite a few other Type 2's that I know aren't insulin dependent showing this way.
