So I was diagnosed a little under 2 weeks ago and when I was first diagnosed my blood sugar levels were at 32.. now I'm taking lantus and NovoRapid and 2 hours after a meal my levels are still around 15. I was just wondering how long it will take for them to be normal?

When you have the lantus and novorapid dose right to control your blood sugars. The mere fact you are taking insulin won't magically create perfectly normal blood sugar levels. Insulin doses need to be adjusted and balanced to achieve that.

It may also be that your DSN is carefully stepping your blood sugar down slowly to avoid problems that can occur with sudden tight control.

As someone so recently diagnosed you should be in close contact with you DSN for dosing advice. It woul be worth discussing your blood sugar levels with your DSN and the plan for getting the out of the teens.
