Instead of fighting for an appeal fight for the correct medication an advice... It's scientifically proven its a condition that can be controlled an there is no doubt it makes life harder for a child but the services products advice an support are all there for free!! For the child the biggest problem is acceptance an no amount of money will ever change that... Being positive an taking one day at a time will find the right way of dealing with your particular circumstances as no two days are ever the same. dla should come into play should complications occur such as blindness an limb loss then I would say I'm disabled as a result of my diabetes not disabled by merely having it.. Government guidelines need to be addressed as every child should be eating healthy an every parent should expect sleepless nights might sound harsh but I was diagnosed at the age of 8 an neither my family or myself have suffered financial loss due to diabetes!
