Rosuvastatin

Anyone on this .Have just started this one and have painful gut already however have tried every statin known to man ! bit worrying I remember this one as it was in news as something bad but was under its old name Crestor anyone remember exactly what was wrong with it

I have been on this for about 18 months now having also tried almost all others. I don't seem to get any symptoms from it but am on a very low dose (5mg) although that it now being cranked up to 20mg, so will report back if I have any issues. I'm sure it's still called Crestor (AstraZeneca's brand name).

I am on Rosuvastatin -20 MG & have had no problems so far. I think you should give at least three weeks before you decide to discontinue as this brand of Statin is very effective & you will see results.

I have been on it for about 6 months. After trying a few others. And have had no problems at all.
